Project 2
Module 1
The second assignment tasks us with creating a map and utilizing location data and different ways of applying that data to present it visually. This assignment seeks to use different methods of 3D imaging to display the student's locations of choice. It seeks to test our understanding in regards to 3D modeling and also increase our understanding, building off what was learned during the first project.
Activity 1
Map box as a resource was easy to use once I figuteal out how to use it. Initially while starting to understand the program, I failed to understand the different features once until I figuteal out how to import certain features, such as waterways, landmark symbols, such as the dots utilized to represent cities, buildings of note and even roads. I found it to be fun, navigating and looking for places I knew. Said places ranged from where I lived, the location of the Sheridan campus, and lastly, where my family grew up before they immigrated to Canada. I'm excited to learn how to use it further for this project out of curiousity and how it will be adapted into a 3D model of our choosing.
